We monitor any exceptions to this and record them in a Complaints Register.

This refers to areas where we follow laws in Personnel, Health and Safety, Finance and Equal Opportunities.
Our current terms of business indicate a period within which our suppliers will be paid. We will always endeavour to fulfil this and will maintain a Register recording any instances reported that so not comply with this.
We are honest and truthful in our representations and where it is necessary to withhold information we are clear regarding our motives and explain the reasons.
Management Review meetings are held and minuted but certain personnel matters require confidences to be maintained.
We attempt to ensure that competition is fair and based on Quality and Value.
When completing Tender bids and requests for information, the information that we provide is truthful and accurate.
We do not tempt others to act in way that is in violation of our Company standards.
Our Quality standards and procedures protect us and make such incidents difficult to occur and so provide our defence.

Policy on Environment
TrustOn is committed to providing a quality service in a manner that ensures a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and minimises our potential impact on the environment, i.e. CO2 emission. We will operate in compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and we will strive to use pollution prevention and environmental best practices in all we do.

We are committed to work towards:
· Ensuring that all relevant environmental legislation and regulation is applied
· Operating the business in an environmentally sensitive manner
· Purchasing environmentally friendly materials when appropriate
· Raising the awareness of staff so that everyone may be involved
· Reducing energy usage by increased Energy Efficiency
· Re-using or recycling waste when possible

The Environmental Policy covers all aspects of TrustOn operations – from good housekeeping measures such as using both sides of paper prior to recycling, to ensuring that investments made are environmentally sound. The policy also commits us to promoting suppliers and services which adhere to environmentally sound ways of operating.

i. Paper
· To minimise the use of paper in the office
· To buy recycled and recyclable paper products
· To find a second life for items especially paper and office stationery
· To recycle everything we can

ii. Water and Energy
· To reduce the amount of energy we use as much as possible
· To switch off lights, computers, copiers, etc. when not in use, and heating adjusted with energy consumption in mind. The energy consumption of new products will be taken into account when making purchasing decisions

iii. Office Supplies
· To reduce the amount of office supplies that we need
· To commit in buying environmentally friendly products, i.e local products
· To recycle everything we can

iv. Maintenance and Cleaning
· Cleaning materials will be as environmentally friendly as possible
· Materials used in office refurbishment will be as environmentally friendly as possible

v. Travel
· To promote the use of environmentally friendly forms of transport by staff, volunteers and clients
· To promote the use of cycling and walking as the main means of travel to local meetings
· To use public transport where systems allow efficient use.
· For journeys that require the use of a car, car sharing will be encouraged

vi. Culture
· To educate and involve staff in the implementation of this policy, aiming for greater commitment and improved environmental performance

All staff must have access to this Environmental Policy through the staff information file held in the office. The Environmental Policy will be regularly referred to in decision-making and through staff meetings. It is to be included during the induction of new staff, board members and volunteers. It shall be reviewed bi-annually by the directors of TrustOn.

SIA Licensing
TrustOn Security go through vigorous vetting procedures and ensure that all staff working in the company are fit and proper and have the appropriate SIA licenses for carrying out their work. All of our front line officers have to meet tough criteria. Not only do they have to pass identity and criminal checks, they also have to show evidence of their range of skills, knowledge and experience.

ISO Standards
From the outset, TrustOn Security has focused on internal management processes and service delivery and has implemented performance management and quality systems. Our automated control desk allows us to provide a better service to our customers as well as react to unforeseen events. Manned by professional staff 24/7 it is fully accredited to ISO standards.
